A Delhi-based law student has taken legal action against the organizers of a high-profile concert, alleging malpractice after she failed to secure a ticket. The student, Riddhima Kapoor, has issued a legal notice accusing the Dil-Luminati Tour organizers of unfair practices.

According to Kapoor, the booking window for the concert was supposed to open on September 12 at 1 pm, but tickets became available a minute earlier, at 12:59 pm. This early release led to a rush of ticket purchases, leaving many fans, including Kapoor, without tickets due to what she claims was an error by the organizers.

Kapoor’s notice highlights concerns over the alleged mismanagement of ticket sales, which she argues constitutes a violation of consumer rights. The early opening of the booking window reportedly allowed hundreds of fans to purchase tickets within a short timeframe, resulting in a chaotic and unfair process for others who were unable to secure passes. Kapoor’s complaint underscores the frustration of fans who were left out due to what she describes as organizational negligence.

The legal notice has drawn attention to the broader issue of transparency and fairness in ticket sales for major events. As the case unfolds, it raises important questions about consumer protection and the responsibilities of event organizers to ensure an equitable ticketing process. The outcome of this legal action may set a precedent for how such disputes are handled in the future.
