This achievement is a proud moment for Pakistanis globally as Karachi-based Ingenuity Productions shines at Cannes with ‘The Chronicles of Umro Ayyar’. Inspired by the epic tale of Tilism e Hoshruba, the film follows the adventurous journey of the legendary trickster hero, Umro Ayyar, as he navigates time and magical realms.
Beneath its fantastical narrative lies a profound theme that resonates with all ages: the pursuit of genuine connections and triumph over selfishness. Umro Ayyar’s journey highlights the power of forming bonds that transcend race, gender, class, age, and personality.
Besides ‘The Chronicles of Umro Ayyar’, Ingenuity Productions is developing another 3D animated series, ‘Science Voyagers’, about a boy who travels through time to meet historical scientific figures. Additionally, the company is known for producing two 2D animated series: ‘Aria and the Magic Jungle’, which promotes environmental awareness, and ‘Yolki and Hatch’, focusing on childhood development.
“We aim to showcase the potential of the Pakistani animation industry on the global stage. With the film’s captivating visuals and narrative, we are confident it will resonate with audiences worldwide,” said Haris Basharat.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
