He was accompanied by his fellow Test cricketer, Imamul Haq.
Setting off from Lahore Airport, Azam, along with his brother, embarked on the Umrah pilgrimage shortly after the conclusion of the PSL season.

During the ninth installment of the PSL, Babar Azam’s team, Peshawar Zalmi, advanced to the playoff stage. However, they were eliminated by Islamabad United in the Eliminator 2. Subsequently, Islamabad United emerged victorious, securing the trophy for the third time.
Following the cricketing event, Azam opted to embark on the spiritual journey of Umrah, a significant pilgrimage in Islam, alongside Imamul Haq, marking a departure from the competitive cricketing atmosphere to engage in a deeply personal and religious endeavor.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
