For the position of Assistant Supervisor (Explosive Detection Section), 10 posts (BS-09) are advertised. Eligible candidates should possess a minimum qualification of a higher secondary school certificate or Diploma of Associate Engineering, or an equivalent qualification (second division) from a recognized board. Additionally, certification in a bomb disposal course from a recognized institution with a minimum of two years of related field experience is required. The age limit for this post is 21-40 years.

In the Explosive Detection Section, the department is recruiting 99 candidates for the position of Operator (BS-05). Minimum educational requirements include a secondary school certificate or an equivalent qualification (second division) from a recognized board, along with a technical certificate (at least six months duration) in electrical, electronics, mechanical, chemical, civil, and TV mechanic from a recognized institution.
Furthermore, 31 positions for the role of Operator (BS-05) are announced in the Surveillance Section, with an age limit of 18 to 40 years. Other available vacancies include Assistant Canine Supervisor (BS-09), Senior Canine Handler (BS-07), Canine Handler, and Sweeper.
Interested candidates can download the application form from the official website of the Punjab Police. Along with the application form, applicants are required to submit educational certificates, experience certificates, domicile, ID card copy, and passport size pictures.
A job application fee of Rs500 is applicable for each candidate, payable upon submission of the application form at the relevant regional offices. The deadline for submitting job applications is March 19, 2024.
