Federal Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi on Sunday expressed satisfaction after reviewing public services at the NADRA Centre in Shimla Pahari, Lahore, during an unannounced visit.
During the inspection, the interior minister observed that the centre was operating under an improved system designed to provide faster and more efficient services. According to officials, long queues and extended waiting times have been significantly reduced, allowing citizens to complete their applications in a more organized manner.
Mohsin Naqvi interacted with members of the public visiting the centre to obtain identity cards and other NADRA-related services. He also met with staff members to discuss the quality of services being provided and assess the centre’s overall performance.
Citizens present at the facility expressed satisfaction with the improved arrangements and quicker service delivery. The minister noted that he had previously visited the Shimla Pahari NADRA Centre and was pleased to see a noticeable improvement based on public feedback.
He emphasized that public trust and satisfaction remain the most important indicators of an institution’s success and urged officials to maintain high service standards.
During the visit, Naqvi instructed NADRA staff to properly guide applicants about the required documents before they submit their applications. He said providing accurate information at the initial stage would help reduce delays and make the process more convenient for citizens.
The interior minister also directed officials to streamline the system for accessing Family Registration Certificate (FRC) track records to further improve service delivery and facilitate applicants.
The visit reflects the government’s continued focus on enhancing public services and ensuring a more efficient experience for citizens at NADRA centres across the country.
