Hrithik Roshan Updates On Krrish 4, Urges Patience

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]Bollywood heartthrob Hrithik Roshan has some exciting news for his dedicated fanbase! Following the massive success of films like Koi Mil Gaya, Krrish, and Krrish 3, which shattered box office records, Roshan recently made a significant announcement regarding the fourth installment of the franchise.

The Krrish series began with Koi… Mil Gaya in 2003, featuring Hrithik Roshan, Preity Zinta, Rekha, and Rakesh Roshan. The second installment, Krrish, hit the screens in 2006 with Roshan and Priyanka Chopra in lead roles, followed by Krrish 3 in 2013, starring Kangana Ranaut and Vivek Oberoi.

The Fighter actor shared a status update about Krrish 4, expressing, “It’s too early to speak about Krrish 4.” While confirming that work is underway, Roshan urged his fans to be patient, emphasizing that a project as extensive as Krrish 4 requires careful consideration of both business aspects and the depth of the script. He conveyed his contentment with the progress but acknowledged that there is still a long way to go.

“Work is in progress, but know that the film is difficult, for which you all will have to wait. Because some matters have to be settled. I am smiling, I am happy, but a long way to go still,” he conveyed.

The ambitious project was initially announced in 2018, with director Karan Malhotra targeting a Christmas 2020 release. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, the release of Krrish 4 faced delays.

The first three films of the superhero saga, part of the Krrish franchise, were directed and produced by Rakesh Roshan, Hrithik Roshan’s father. While fans anxiously anticipate the next chapter in the superhero series, Roshan’s recent release, Fighter, made a significant impact at the box office. Released on January 25, 2024, coinciding with Republic Day, the film amassed a staggering INR 130 crore in India.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
