In a thrilling final ODI, Pakistan secured a win through a Super Over after the batters tied the match while pursuing a target of 252. Notably, spinners Nashra Sandhu and Ghulam Fatima each claimed two wickets, while Umm-e-Hani contributed with a solitary wicket.
The key contributors to Pakistan’s successful chase were ex-captain Bismah Maroof, who scored 68 runs off 86 balls, along with impactful performances from Aliya Riaz (44) and Fatima Sana (36).

This victory marked Pakistan’s first W-ODI triumph against the White Ferns, achieving significant milestones throughout the tour despite the absence of Nida Dar.

Earlier in the tour, Pakistan became the second team, following England, to clinch a W-T20I series against New Zealand in their home turf, securing a 2-1 victory. Now, adding to their achievements, they have claimed a win in a One-Day game as well.
The third One-Day match went into a Super Over, where Pakistan scored 11 runs. Aliya Riaz’s boundary and effective running between the wickets contributed to this double-digit score. Spinner Sadia Iqbal defended the runs by taking two wickets, ultimately securing the win for Pakistan.
The second One-Day encounter was equally intense, with New Zealand successfully chasing down the target of 221 with just one wicket in hand. The standout performer that night was middle-order batter Maddy Green. In that match, Pakistan’s makeshift captain, Fatima Sana, scored an impressive 90 runs at a strike rate of 86.53, while Ghulam Fatima claimed four wickets.
After two closely contested matches, the One-Day series concluded with New Zealand holding a 2-1 lead.
