Gigi and Bella Hadid, whose father has Palestinian roots, took to Instagram to share a series of stories condemning Israel and expressing disapproval of its treatment of Palestinian children.
In her Instagram stories, Gigi Hadid criticized Israel’s negative perspective on Palestinians, stating that the country categorizes any Palestinian as a ‘terrorist,’ considers anyone supporting Palestinian rights as an ‘anti-Semite,’ and labels any Jew opposing the government’s actions as ‘self-hating.’
Referring to a Sky News interview with Husam Zomlot, the Palestinian ambassador to the UK, Hadid questioned the validity of Israel’s stance, adding that it would be comedic if it were not so evil and disturbing. She challenged the narrative that presents Israel as the sole arbiter of truth in the ongoing conflict.

Consistently, Gigi Hadid and her family have been vocal in their support for the Palestinian cause, using their platform to raise awareness about the enduring issues faced by Palestinians.
In a specific post, Gigi highlighted that Israel is the only country in the world that detains children as prisoners of war. She drew attention to the distressing reality of abduction, rape, humiliation, torture, and murder of Palestinians, referencing the case of Ahmed Almanasra, who was detained by Israeli authorities at the age of 12 and recently released as part of a truce agreement between Israel and Hamas.
Sharing a poignant video of a young Palestinian boy expressing joy about the truce, Gigi Hadid commented on the child’s hope for continued peace, emphasizing that every child, regardless of their place of birth, deserves peaceful and joyful days.
