[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]In the Shahdra area of the federal capital, Islamabad, a tragic incident unfolded on Saturday when a school bus, transporting students and teachers from Sheikhupura to Islamabad for a picnic trip, veered off the road and plunged into a ravine. Regrettably, one student lost their life, and 15 others sustained injuries in the accident. Promptly upon receiving the report, rescue teams were dispatched to the scene, and the injured students were swiftly transferred to a Federal Government Services Hospital (Poly Clinic).
The mishap is believed to have occurred due to the driver’s negligence. The students involved were from a private school in Sheikhupura, embarking on a three-day trip to explore Khewra and Murree.

This unfortunate incident echoes a similar tragedy from July, where a tourist bus in Gilgit Baltistan fell into a ravine near the Thalichi area of Diamer district.
