Initially, this update is accessible to premium users on ChatGPT’s “Plus” and “Enterprise” plans and will become available to all users soon, although OpenAI has not disclosed a specific rollout timeline. The previous limitation of ChatGPT, with its knowledge cutoff date of September 2021, hindered users’ ability to address recent developments or events, raising concerns about its research utility.
