This price increase is in response to the significant depreciation of the local currency and increased production costs.
KIA is the first automaker to adjust its car prices due to the currency depreciation, and other car manufacturers are expected to follow suit.

As a result of these changes, the prices of various KIA models have been adjusted, including the Kia Picanto AT, KIA Stonic, Sportage AWD, and KIA Sportage Black, with increases ranging from Rs125,000 to Rs350,000.
