Lamborghini to launch its first ever electric car

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]Lamborghini is teasing a new vehicle that will be unveiled on August 18. “Something new and truly thrilling is about to be unveiled,” the Italian automaker said on Instagram.

Following the announcement of an EV concept for Monterey Car Week, the business has released this teaser. The new Lamborghini that is set to be introduced is expected to be all-electric.

The teaser image depicts an intriguing outline. The teaser car’s flowing lines and softer edges contrast with Lamborghini’s razor-sharp geometric styling. To reduce drag, these design elements may mix the brand’s iconic style with EV-centric design.

This EV concept, dubbed the “first prototype of our fourth series production car,” has been eagerly anticipated by Lamborghini aficionados. In July 2023, a 2+2 grand tourer was introduced.

Unlike the Huracan or the redesigned Revuelto, CEO Stephan Winkelmann stated that this car would be “much more daily usable.” It will also not be an SUV, as the Lamborghini Urus already caters to the SUV market.

The teaser does not show the size or styling of the car. Its state in the back seat is similarly uncertain. This is noteworthy since it will be Lamborghini’s first 2+2 grand tourer since the late 1970s.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
