Zaman Khan shines with unplayable last over at GT20 Canada

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]Zaman Khan, a rising Pakistani fast bowler, has been outstanding in the ongoing third edition of the Global T20 in Canada.

Yesterday, while playing for the Toronto Nationals, the right-arm pacer struck again in the final over of a rain-delayed game against the Montreal Tigers.

The Kashmir-born pacer conceded just 19 runs in his two-over session during the 17th game, which was trimmed to six overs due to rain at the CAA Centre in Brampton.

The Nationals lost by 23 runs after failing to chase 78 runs owing to Kaleem Sana and Abbas Afridi’s outstanding overs, conceding one and six runs, respectively.

Last week, in the tournament’s second match, the 21-year-old pacer defended 13 runs in the final over against the Vancouver Knights.

Zaman is known as a death overs specialist in the shorter formats, having defended low scores numerous times in the Pakistan Super League (PSL).

It’s worth noting that Zaman Khan has been chosen by the Manchester Originals for the forthcoming third edition of The Hundred, a 100-ball cricket competition.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
