The all-format captain shared his joy at finishing the religious trip at such a young age in a brief video message that went popular on social media.
Babar Azam stated that he had heard from his elders that Hajj should be performed in youth, and he now understands the significance of performing Hajj at a young age.

The skipper also mentioned that it was his first Hajj and recommended Muslims to undertake Hajj at a young age rather than postpone it because performing the procedures becomes more difficult as you become older.
It is worth noting that some former and current Pakistani cricketers, including former captain Inzamam-ul-Haq, travelled to Saudi Arabia to undertake Hajj.
During their pilgrimage last week, Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, and Iftikhar Ahmed were observed at the Cave of Hira, a sacred historical site in the city of Makkah.
Hajj is extremely important to Muslims all around the world, comprising travels to sacred places in Makkah and rituals intended at strengthening their bond with Allah.
The right-handed hitter will join the preparatory camp in Karachi ahead of the next two-match Test series in Sri Lanka later this month.
