Government College University Faisalabad (GCUF) has opened online admissions for the Fall 2026-27 semester, offering students the opportunity to apply for a wide range of undergraduate, BS Bridging, MS, MPhil and PhD programs.
Pakistani and foreign applicants can apply for selected programs offered in morning and replica classes, subject to the availability of seats. The deadline for submitting online admission applications is September 28, 2026.
GCUF is offering four-year BS programs across several academic fields, including science, business, technology, social sciences, humanities and health sciences. Available programs include Accounting and Finance, Applied Chemistry, Arabic, Biochemistry, Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, Botany, Business Analytics, Chemistry, Climate Change, Commerce, Computer Science, Criminology, Economics and English Literature.
Students can also apply for programs in Environmental Science, Food Science, Geography, History, Information Technology, Islamic Banking and Finance, Islamic Studies, Mass Communication, Mathematics, Microbiology, Physics, Political Science, Psychology, Public Administration, Sociology, Statistics, Urdu and Zoology.
A number of health-related programs are also available. These include Doctor of Physical Therapy, Public Health, Medical Imaging Technology, Medical Laboratory Technology, Optometry and Orthoptics, Radiology and Surgical Technology. Admissions have also been announced for Chemical, Civil, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering Technology.
The university is offering associate degree programs in disciplines such as Public Administration, Accounting and Finance, Applied Psychology, Business Administration, Commerce, Food Science and Technology and Physical Education. Other options include BBA, B.Ed Honours Elementary, Bachelor of Eastern Medicine, Interior Architecture, Graphic Design, Textile Design and Visual Arts.
Applicants with 16 years of education in any discipline can also apply for the MBA program. GCUF is additionally accepting applications for its 1.5-year B.Ed program.
For students seeking admission at the fifth-semester level, the university has opened BS Bridging admissions in several subjects. These include Accounting and Finance, Applied Chemistry, Arabic, Botany, Chemistry, Commerce, Computer Science, Economics, English Linguistics, English Literature, Geography, History, Home Economics, International Relations and Information Technology. Other subjects include Islamic Studies, Mass Communication, Mathematics, Pakistan Studies, Persian, Physical Education, Physics, Public Administration, Punjabi, Remote Sensing and GIS, Sociology, Statistics, Urdu and Zoology.
MS and MPhil admissions are also open for two-year programs. Available fields include Applied Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Arabic, Art and Design, Accounting and Finance, Biochemistry, Bioinformatics, Biotechnology, Botany, Business Administration, Commerce, Computer Science, Economics, Education, Environmental Sciences, Electrical Engineering, Food Science and Technology, Geography, History, Information Technology, International Relations, Islamic Studies, Mathematics, Microbiology and Molecular Biology.
GCUF has also announced morning admissions for PhD programs in subjects including Applied Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Botany, Business Administration, Chemistry, Commerce, Computer Science and Economics.
Several scholarship opportunities are available for eligible students. These include the Chief Minister Honhaar Undergraduate Scholarship Program, HEC Need-Based Scholarship and Punjab Educational Endowment Fund Scholarship. Applicants should check the eligibility requirements of each scholarship before applying.
The university has scheduled admission tests for September 29, 2026. The tests will apply to BS Fine Arts, Bachelor of Engineering Technology, MS, MPhil and PhD programs. Candidates should check the university’s admission information for test schedules, syllabi and other instructions.
