The Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training has announced 265 jobs at Daanish Schools in Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.
The vacancies include five principal positions and 260 teaching posts. The jobs are available at Daanish Schools in Bagh, Bhimber, Ghanche, Sultanabad and Astore.
Candidates from across Pakistan can apply for these positions. Applicants from AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan are also eligible. All positions will be filled on open merit.
Applications must be submitted online through the Higher Education Commission’s Education Testing Council portal. Candidates are required to complete the online application process within the announced deadline.
The ministry will appoint one principal at each of the five Daanish Schools. It has also announced teaching positions across several academic subjects.
Each subject has four teaching vacancies at the five schools. Two positions are reserved for male teachers and two are for female teachers at each school.
The available teaching positions include Mathematics, English, Urdu, Chemistry, Physics and Biology. Other subjects include Islamiyat, Social Studies, General Science and Computer Science.
Fine Arts, Geography and Montessori or General Teacher positions are also available. Each subject has 20 vacancies across the five schools, bringing the total teaching positions to 260.
The principal positions will carry a BS-20 equivalent pay package. Principals will also receive one additional basic salary each month.
The initial contract for principals will be two years. It can be extended for another two years based on satisfactory performance.
Teachers will be appointed at DS-16. They will also receive one additional basic salary under the announced package.
Teaching contracts will initially run for three years. Extensions may be offered based on the performance of the selected candidates.
Applicants for principal positions must have at least 16 years of education. They should hold a master’s degree with at least a second division from an HEC-recognized institution.
Candidates must also have at least 17 years of experience. Experience as a principal or senior faculty member will be preferred.
Applicants should have strong leadership and school administration experience. Knowledge of curriculum development and teacher recruitment will also be important.
Good English communication skills are required for principal positions. The maximum age limit for these vacancies is 63 years.
Candidates applying for teaching positions must generally have 16 years of relevant education. Their qualification must be from an HEC-recognized institution.
Applicants must have at least a second division. Candidates with a CGPA must have at least 2.50 out of 4.00 or 3.50 out of 5.00.
An M.Ed. or B.Ed. qualification will provide an advantage for relevant teaching positions. Good English communication skills are also required.
The maximum age limit for teaching positions is 50 years. Candidates applying for Montessori or General Teacher posts may receive an advantage with relevant Montessori training.
Interested candidates must register through the HEC Education Testing Council portal. They need to enter their personal, educational and contact information carefully.
Applicants must select the relevant position and submit the completed form before the deadline. Only applications showing a Submitted status will be considered.
Incomplete or saved applications will not be accepted. Applications submitted through hand delivery, courier or email will not be considered.
Candidates must apply within 15 days of the advertisement’s publication. They should also regularly check official education and Daanish Schools platforms for test and interview updates.
Only eligible shortlisted candidates will be called for tests or interviews. No travel or daily allowance will be provided to candidates.
Government and semi-government employees must apply through the proper channel. They may also need to provide a no-objection certificate.
Candidates appearing for tests must bring their original CNIC or passport. They must also carry the roll-number slip issued by the Education Testing Council.
