The Sindh Institute of Urology and Transplantation (SIUT) has opened applications for various jobs in Karachi, Sukkur and Larkana. The vacancies cover medical, administrative, research and support roles.
The latest recruitment drive includes positions in anaesthesia, laboratory services, research, paediatric nephrology and administration. Jobs are also available in patient safety, communications, laundry, transport, housekeeping and fire safety.
SIUT has invited qualified candidates to apply for the available positions. Applicants can submit their applications online through the institute’s careers portal. They can also send their resumes by email.
The deadline to apply for the SIUT jobs is September 16, 2026. The institute said only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for the next stage of the recruitment process.
Several medical positions are available for qualified professionals. These include Assistant Professor of Anaesthesia, Anaesthesia Consultant, Anaesthesia Specialist and Senior RMO in Anaesthesia.
The Assistant Professor position requires FCPS in Anaesthesia or an equivalent qualification. Candidates must also meet the relevant experience and publication requirements set by the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council.
Applicants for the Anaesthesia Consultant position need FCPS or MCPS in Anaesthesia. FCPS candidates require three to five years of experience. MCPS candidates need five to seven years of relevant experience.
The Anaesthesia Specialist position is also open to fresh candidates with MCPS, DA or completed IMM training in Anaesthesia. The Senior RMO position requires an MBBS degree and completed MCPS Anaesthesia training. Fresh candidates can apply for this role.
SIUT is also hiring faculty for haematology and chemical pathology. Candidates need FCPS or an equivalent qualification in the relevant field. Experience and publication requirements must also meet applicable PMDC standards.
Research and administrative vacancies include Epidemiologist, Paediatric Nephrology Coordinator, Secretary or Coordinator and Patient Safety and Quality Assurance Officer.
The Epidemiologist position requires MBBS along with an MSc in Epidemiology and Biostatistics. Candidates should have three to five years of post-qualification research experience.
The Paediatric Nephrology Coordinator position requires a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management or a related field. One to two years of experience is preferred, particularly in a hospital environment.
SIUT has also announced opportunities in media and communications. The Social Media Specialist position requires a relevant bachelor’s degree and three to five years of social media management experience.
The Photographer, Videographer or Editor position requires a relevant degree or diploma. Candidates with two to three years of experience and strong photo and video editing skills will be preferred.
Support staff vacancies include Laundry Services Supervisor, Washer Man, HTV Driver and Housekeeping Manager. Requirements vary according to the position and include relevant education, licences and professional experience.
Fire and safety positions are also available in Karachi, Sukkur and Larkana. These include Fire and Safety Supervisor and Fire Fighter.
Candidates for the Fire and Safety Supervisor position need Intermediate Science or an equivalent qualification. Relevant fire and safety certification or training is also required. Applicants should have eight years of experience, including three years as a supervisor.
The Fire Fighter position requires matric qualification, relevant training or certification and two to three years of experience.
