The Federal Investigation Agency has announced 34 new vacancies through the Federal Public Service Commission. The positions include Assistant Director and Superintendent posts.
The recruitment drive includes 12 Assistant Director (Legal) BS-17 positions. It also offers 22 Superintendent BS-16 vacancies.
Interested candidates can submit their applications online until August 31, 2026. The vacancies are being offered under different provincial and regional quotas.
For Assistant Director (Legal) positions, candidates must hold a Second Class or Grade C LLB degree. The degree must be from an HEC-recognized university.
Applicants must also have at least two years of post-qualification experience. Relevant experience includes legal practice, prosecution or other related legal fields.
The basic age limit for Assistant Director positions is 22 to 30 years. FPSC will also provide five years of general upper-age relaxation under applicable rules.
The Assistant Director vacancies include quotas for Punjab, Sindh Rural and Sindh Urban. Seats are also available for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Ex-FATA.
Women and minority quota seats have also been included in the recruitment. Candidates must meet the relevant eligibility and quota requirements.
FIA has also announced 22 Superintendent BS-16 positions. Candidates with a Second Class or Grade C Master’s degree can apply.
The Master’s degree must represent 16 years of education and must be obtained from an HEC-recognized university. Candidates with a Second Class or Grade C Bachelor’s degree with 14 years of education can also apply.
However, candidates applying with a 14-year Bachelor’s degree must have at least two years of post-qualification experience. The required experience must be in accounts or administration.
Applicants for both positions must apply through the FPSC online portal. The commission will not accept manual applications or hard copies.
The application fee for both BS-16 and BS-17 positions is Rs. 600. Candidates must generate a PSID through the FPSC online system before making payment.
The fee can be paid through supported 1-Link payment channels. These include ATMs, mobile banking, Easypaisa and JazzCash.
Government employees must obtain a Departmental Permission Certificate before submitting their applications. Applicants should also ensure that all information provided in the form is accurate.
Candidates interested in FIA jobs should complete their applications before the August 31 deadline. They should carefully review the eligibility criteria before applying.
