The University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Lahore has released the first merit list for undergraduate admissions for the Fall 2026 session. Thousands of applicants can now check whether they have secured admission by accessing the university’s official admission portal.
According to the university, the first merit list was published on July 24, 2026. Candidates who applied for undergraduate programmes are advised to log in to the official UET admission portal using their credentials to check their selection status and admission details.
Students whose names appear on the merit list have been instructed to download their offer letters and carefully review all instructions provided by the university. The offer letters contain important information regarding admission procedures, fee submission, document verification and deadlines that must be followed to confirm admission.
The university has advised selected candidates to complete all admission formalities within the deadline mentioned in their respective offer letters. Failure to submit the required documents or complete the admission process on time may result in the cancellation of the offered seat.
Applicants whose names do not appear in the first merit list have been encouraged not to lose hope. UET Lahore will publish additional merit lists in the coming weeks, giving more candidates the opportunity to secure admission based on available seats and updated merit positions.
The university has also announced that admissions under the P and M categories will be uploaded on or before August 8, 2026. Eligible applicants in these categories have been advised to regularly check the admission portal for further updates and announcements.
Every year, UET Lahore receives thousands of applications for its undergraduate engineering and technology programmes, making the admission process highly competitive. Merit lists are released in phases to accommodate seat availability and ensure a transparent selection process.
University officials have urged applicants to keep visiting the official admission portal for the latest information regarding upcoming merit lists, fee deadlines and admission schedules. Students are also encouraged to read all instructions carefully to avoid missing important deadlines during the admission process.
