The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) has opened online registration for candidates who want to join the force as Airmen in different trades. According to the official advertisement, registration is open from 6 July 2026 to 19 July 2026 through the official PAF recruitment portal. Eligible candidates who meet the required qualifications, age, height, and trade-specific conditions can apply online before the closing date.
PAF is offering recruitment in multiple categories, including Aero Trade, Aero Support, PF&DI, Security, MTD, Fire Fighter, Medical Assistant, and Music. The recruitment drive provides an opportunity for young Pakistanis to serve in the country’s air force in technical and non-technical roles. Officials have advised applicants to carefully review the eligibility criteria for their preferred trade before submitting the application.
The recruitment is open to male Pakistani citizens, while applicants must also be unmarried for the relevant categories mentioned in the advertisement. For most trades, candidates should have passed Matric with Science and obtained the required percentage of marks. However, the minimum qualification, age limit, height requirement, and subject-wise marks differ depending on the selected trade.
For technical categories such as Aero Trade and Aero Support, candidates must have strong academic performance in science subjects. Those applying for the Medical Assistant trade are required to have good marks in Biology along with other science subjects. Applicants interested in MTD and Fire Fighter positions should also review the driving licence and physical fitness requirements mentioned in the official advertisement before applying.
According to the PAF advertisement, the general age limit ranges from approximately 15½ years to 21 years, depending on the trade. Some driving-related categories may have different age requirements for candidates holding valid LTV or HTV driving licences. Applicants should carefully read all instructions available on the recruitment portal to avoid errors that could lead to disqualification during the verification process.
After the online registration closes, eligible candidates will be called to the nearest PAF Information and Selection Centre for further recruitment stages. The selection process may include a written test, intelligence test, initial medical examination, physical test, interview, and final medical assessment followed by merit-based selection. Candidates must bring their original educational and identification documents when reporting to the selection centre.
