Hajj 2027 Draws Strong Response From Pilgrims Across Pakistan

The Ministry of Religious Affairs has reported a strong public response to Hajj 2027 registration, with hundreds of thousands of Pakistanis completing the online process within the first two weeks. The ministry also confirmed that registration for Hajj 2027–2030 remains open and will continue until further notice.

Officials said the high number of registrations reflects growing interest among citizens planning to perform Hajj. Many applicants have used the Pak Hajj App and the official online registration portal, allowing them to complete the process conveniently from their homes.

According to the ministry, a large majority of applicants opted for the Government Hajj Scheme, while thousands also registered under the Private Hajj Scheme. Registration has been received from all provinces, with Punjab recording the highest number of applicants, followed by Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Both male and female pilgrims have actively participated in the registration process.

The online registration system will remain operational until the government announces further instructions. Authorities have encouraged all interested pilgrims to complete the process as early as possible.

Earlier, Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Muhammad Yousaf officially launched the registration campaign and outlined several important features of the new policy. He announced that registration is completely free of charge and that applicants will not be required to pay any registration fee.

The minister also clarified that the process will follow a first-come, first-served policy. Registration has been made mandatory for both the Government and Private Hajj Schemes, and no application will be accepted unless the applicant completes the registration beforehand.

Applicants must possess a valid passport that remains valid until at least November 26, 2027. The policy also allows family members to register together, while Overseas Pakistanis are eligible to participate in the registration process as well.

People can register through designated banks, the official online portal, or the Pak Hajj App. The Ministry of Religious Affairs has advised intending pilgrims to verify all required documents before applying to avoid delays in later stages. Further details regarding Hajj packages, expenses, and additional procedures are expected to be announced after the registration phase concludes.
