Emirates Wins Top Global Airline Award Again

Emirates has once again been recognized as the Best Airline Worldwide at the 2026 Business Traveller Middle East (BTME) Awards, while also winning Best First Class and Best Airport Lounge in the Middle East for its First Class Lounge at Dubai International Airport.

The Business Traveller Middle East Awards are among the region’s most prestigious travel industry honors, with winners selected through nominations and votes cast by the publication’s readers. Emirates Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer Adnan Kazim accepted the awards on behalf of the airline.

The latest recognition reflects Emirates’ continued investment in enhancing the passenger experience both onboard and at the airport. The airline is currently refurbishing 219 Airbus A380 and Boeing 777 aircraft, while expanding its fleet with new Airbus A350s featuring the latest cabin products and technologies.

The refurbished aircraft and new A350s now operate on more than 70 destinations across Emirates’ global network of nearly 140 cities, providing travelers with a more modern and consistent inflight experience.

Emirates’ award-winning First Class continues to offer premium amenities, including fully enclosed private suites, dine-on-demand service, unlimited caviar paired with Dom Pérignon champagne, Bulgari amenity kits, Byredo skincare products, onboard Shower Spa facilities, and the A380 Onboard Lounge.

Premium passengers also benefit from chauffeur-drive services in nearly 90 destinations, priority airport services, and access to Emirates lounges in more than 30 destinations worldwide.

The airline’s First Class Lounges at Dubai International Airport were recognized as the Best Airport Lounge in the Middle East, offering à la carte dining, complimentary spa treatments, premium duty-free shopping, an extensive wine selection, and direct boarding access from selected gates.

Emirates has also continued investing in new technology and services. The airline has begun rolling out Starlink high-speed internet across its fleet, with 36 aircraft already equipped to provide passengers with seamless connectivity for streaming, gaming, video calls, and work during flights.

The carrier recently introduced Comprehensive Travel Cover insurance and is set to launch a daily Dubai-Helsinki service in October, becoming the only airline offering year-round direct flights between the UAE and Finland.
