2,600 Jobs Announced by Punjab Urban Unit

The Urban Unit has announced a major job recruitment drive, offering more than 2,600 project-based vacancies across Punjab. The hiring campaign aims to recruit qualified candidates for several field positions under the Urban Sector Planning & Management Services Unit, which operates under the Planning & Development Board, Government of Punjab.

According to the official advertisement, applications are invited for the posts of District Manager, Survey Supervisor, and Enumerator. These positions are project-based and will be filled through an online recruitment process.

The Urban Unit stated that the list of the 22 districts where District Managers will be appointed is available on its official website as well as the Punjab Job Portal.

Interested candidates must submit their job applications online through the Punjab Job Portal. Applications sent by hand, courier, or email will not be accepted. Applicants are advised to carefully read the eligibility criteria, job descriptions, and terms of reference before completing the online application form.

Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for the written test or interview. Government employees are required to apply through the proper official channel. The Urban Unit also reserves the right to increase, decrease, or cancel the advertised vacancies at any stage without providing any reason.

The recruitment process will follow the government’s quota policy where applicable, while female candidates are strongly encouraged to apply. No travel allowance (TA) or daily allowance (DA) will be provided for appearing in the test or interview. Incomplete applications or those containing incorrect information will not be considered.

The last date to submit the online job application is Tuesday, July 7, 2026. Eligible candidates are encouraged to complete their applications before the deadline to avoid last-minute technical issues and secure an opportunity to participate in the recruitment process.
