Pakistan Coast Guards Open 228 Vacancies for NC Staff Posts

The Pakistan Coast Guards has announced 228 new job vacancies for Matric and Primary-pass candidates across the country. According to the official recruitment advertisement, the vacancies are available for the posts of Sepoy General Duty (BPS-05) and NC Staff (BPS-01). The recruitment drive offers an opportunity for eligible candidates to join a federal security force through a walk-in registration process scheduled for July 14 and 15, 2026.

Out of the total vacancies, 179 positions have been announced for Sepoy General Duty, while 49 vacancies are available for NC Staff. Candidates applying for the Sepoy General Duty post must have at least a Matric qualification. For NC Staff positions, applicants must be Primary pass and possess relevant skills for their respective trades. The available NC Staff categories include Mess Waiter, Waiter/Helper, Carpenter, Painter, and Sanitary Worker.

The age limit for both categories is 18 to 25 years. Candidates applying for the Sepoy General Duty post must also meet the required physical standards. These include a minimum height of 5 feet 6 inches, a minimum chest measurement of 34 inches, and a minimum weight of 121 pounds. Authorities have advised candidates to ensure they meet all eligibility requirements before appearing for registration.

The recruitment process will take place at the Pakistan Coast Guards Training Centre, Korangi No. 2½, Karachi. Interested candidates are required to report at the centre on July 14 and 15, 2026, at 7:30 AM. Applicants must bring their original educational and identification documents along with photocopies for verification during the registration process.

The quota-wise distribution of the 179 Sepoy General Duty vacancies includes 90 seats for Punjab, 21 for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 20 for Sindh Rural, 14 for Sindh Urban, 13 on open merit, 11 for Balochistan, five for the former FATA, three for Azad Jammu and Kashmir, and two for Gilgit-Baltistan. Meanwhile, all 49 NC Staff vacancies will be filled on open merit, including 36 Sanitary Workers, six Mess Waiters, five Waiters/Helpers, one Carpenter, and one Painter.

Selected candidates will receive salaries under the approved federal government pay scales. Sepoy General Duty employees in BPS-05 will receive a salary ranging from Rs. 18,160 to Rs. 46,660, while NC Staff in BPS-01 will receive between Rs. 15,620 and Rs. 30,320. In addition to the basic pay, successful candidates will also be entitled to allowances and other benefits in accordance with federal government rules. The Pakistan Coast Guards has clarified that there is no online application process, and all eligible candidates must complete the walk-in registration at the designated recruitment centre.
