The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted a mixed weather pattern across the country, with rain expected in several regions while hot and dry conditions are likely to persist in many other areas.
According to the latest forecast, a number of districts in Punjab are expected to receive rainfall during the day. The areas likely to experience rain include Rawalpindi, Murree, Galiyat, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Gujrat, Gujranwala and Lahore. The expected rainfall may provide temporary relief from the ongoing heat in these regions.
The weather department has also forecast rain in several other Punjab districts, including Sheikhupura, Sialkot, Narowal, Sahiwal, Khushab, Sargodha, Bhakkar, Layyah, Mianwali, Kasur, Okara, Jhang, Faisalabad, Khanewal, Multan and Vehari. Residents in these areas have been advised to stay updated on local weather conditions and take necessary precautions.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, most districts are expected to remain under the influence of hot and dry weather. However, the PMD has indicated chances of rain in upper and central parts of the province. Areas where rainfall is likely include Dir, Chitral, Swat, Kohistan, Shangla, Battagram, Buner, Kohat and Dera Ismail Khan. Similar weather conditions are also expected in Khyber, Waziristan, Mansehra, Abbottabad, Haripur, Peshawar and Swabi.
Meanwhile, the weather in Sindh is expected to remain largely hot and dry. Karachi is likely to witness warm conditions, with the maximum temperature forecast to reach around 35 degrees Celsius. Other districts of the province are also expected to experience high temperatures throughout the day.
Balochistan is expected to see mostly dry and warm weather as well. However, the PMD has predicted chances of rain in a few districts, including Barkhan, Sibi, Kohlu and Zhob.
The latest weather forecast highlights varying conditions across Pakistan, with rainfall expected in selected areas while hot and dry weather continues to dominate much of the country.
