Peugeot Pakistan has announced a significant reduction in the prices of its Peugeot 2008 lineup, making the compact crossover SUV more affordable for buyers in the local market. The move comes as part of a revised pricing strategy aimed at improving competitiveness in the auto sector.
The revision has been implemented by Lucky Motors, the official distributor of Peugeot in Pakistan. The company has reduced prices across both available variants of the Peugeot 2008, offering substantial relief to potential customers.
Following the latest adjustment, the price of the Peugeot 2008 Active has been reduced from Rs. 6,999,000 to Rs. 5,799,000, marking a decrease of Rs. 1,200,000. This cut is expected to make the base variant more accessible to a wider segment of buyers.
Meanwhile, the higher-end Peugeot 2008 Allure has also seen a sharper reduction. Its price has been slashed by Rs. 1,300,000, bringing the new price down to Rs. 6,499,000 from the previous Rs. 7,799,000. The reduction positions the variant more competitively within the compact SUV category.
Industry observers note that such price adjustments may reflect changing market conditions, currency stability trends, or broader shifts in import-related costs. Automakers in Pakistan have recently been adjusting prices in response to economic pressures and policy expectations.
With this latest reduction, Peugeot aims to strengthen its position in Pakistan’s growing SUV market, where competition among mid-range crossover vehicles continues to intensify as consumers look for value-driven options.
