Kia Reduces Price of Sportage L Alpha by Rs. 1 Million

Kia Pakistan has announced a major price reduction for its Sportage L Alpha SUV, making the vehicle significantly more affordable for customers in the local market. The decision comes as part of a revised pricing strategy aimed at improving demand.

According to an official notification, the ex-factory price of the Kia Sportage L Alpha has been reduced from Rs. 8,899,000 to Rs. 7,899,000. The adjustment reflects a price cut of Rs. 1,000,000 across the model.

The company stated that the new pricing will apply to all customer orders invoiced on or after June 22, 2026. It added that both cash and financing customers will benefit from the revised ex-factory rate.

However, Kia clarified that the ex-factory price does not include freight and insurance charges. Customers will still be required to pay these additional costs depending on delivery location and applicable terms.

The company also noted that any new government-imposed taxes, duties, or levies introduced before delivery will be borne by the customer. This means final on-road prices may vary depending on policy changes and applicable charges at the time of delivery.

Industry observers believe such price reductions reflect shifting market conditions and increased competition in Pakistan’s SUV segment, where brands are adjusting pricing strategies to attract buyers amid changing economic trends.
