The Ministry of Religious Affairs has officially announced the start of registration for Hajj 2027, offering prospective pilgrims an opportunity to secure their place in the pilgrimage process without paying any registration fee.
According to the ministry, the registration phase for Hajj 2027 will begin on June 22 and will serve as a mandatory requirement for all individuals intending to perform Hajj through either the government scheme or private operators. Officials clarified that no Hajj application will be entertained unless the applicant has completed the registration process beforehand.
The ministry has also released the official registration schedule and urged citizens to complete the process as early as possible. Authorities noted that registrations will be handled on a first-come, first-served basis, making timely registration important for aspiring pilgrims.
Officials explained that applicants will first need to register before selecting their preferred Hajj scheme. This requirement applies equally to those planning to travel under the government’s Hajj program and those opting for private Hajj arrangements.
To complete registration for Hajj 2027, applicants must possess a valid passport. The ministry has advised citizens to ensure that their passports remain valid until at least November 26, 2027, to avoid any complications during the application and travel process.
The registration facility will also allow family members to register together, making the process more convenient for households planning to perform Hajj collectively. In addition, overseas Pakistanis will be eligible to register and participate in the Hajj 2027 process.
For ease of access, the government has provided multiple registration options. Citizens can visit designated banks across the country to complete their registration or use online services to register from home.
The announcement comes shortly after the federal cabinet approved the Hajj 2027 policy, paving the way for the launch of the registration process. The ministry has encouraged all interested pilgrims to complete their registration within the stipulated period to ensure eligibility for Hajj 2027.
