South Air Pakistan Clarifies Rumors Around Airline Launch Delay Claims

South Air Pakistan has denied reports on social media claiming that regulators are delaying its Airline Launch by withholding the required Air Operator Certificate (AOC).

The clarification came after a social media post alleged that the airline had completed all necessary tests and evaluations. The post claimed that the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA) was delaying the approval process despite the airline meeting all requirements.

In an official statement, South Air Pakistan described these claims as incorrect and without basis. The airline said that the information being shared online does not reflect the actual status of its certification process.

South Air stressed that it remains committed to meeting all regulatory conditions before beginning commercial operations. The company said safety remains its top priority during preparations for its Airline Launch.

The airline also expressed confidence in the regulatory process. It stated that it continues to work closely with the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority and appreciates the guidance provided by the regulator.

According to the statement, South Air does not support negative remarks directed at aviation authorities. The airline emphasized that it respects the role of regulators in ensuring safe and reliable air transport services.

The company further noted that obtaining an Air Operator Certificate involves several important steps. These procedures are designed to ensure that airlines meet strict safety and operational standards before launching services.

South Air Pakistan urged the public to rely only on information shared through its official communication channels. It warned that unofficial social media pages and accounts may spread inaccurate or misleading information.

The airline advised people to follow updates through its official website and verified social media accounts. It said these platforms remain the only trusted sources for company announcements regarding its Airline Launch and operational plans.

South Air Pakistan is among the new private carriers preparing to enter Pakistan’s aviation sector. The airline is currently completing the regulatory requirements needed before starting commercial flights.
