Momina Iqbal is preparing to marry Muhammad Hamza Habibi, with the wedding ceremony scheduled for June 1, according to confirmation from her sister, Ramsha Iqbal. The announcement comes after days of rumors and discussion on social media regarding the actress’s marriage plans.
The upcoming wedding follows a difficult period for Momina Iqbal and her family. Recently, the actress claimed that she had received serious threats against her life and family from an allegedly politically influential person. She publicly shared details about the matter through an Instagram story, which reportedly led to immediate action from law enforcement authorities.
Ramsha Iqbal has been actively handling the legal case on behalf of her sister. Speaking to the media, she said the investigation and legal proceedings are moving in a positive direction. According to her, all important evidence has already been submitted to authorities, while several individuals, including a Punjab MPA, have reportedly been called to provide statements.
Ramsha further stated that the family has been provided security by the government because of safety concerns linked to the threats. She added that Momina Iqbal’s future in-laws were also threatened and are currently receiving protection as well.
She clarified that the marriage is taking place with the complete approval and support of both families. Ramsha also emphasized that Muhammad Hamza Habibi is not related to their family.
The actress’s sister explained that she will continue pursuing the legal matter using her professional legal experience and training obtained both in Pakistan and abroad. Meanwhile, social media users continue to follow the case closely while also congratulating Momina Iqbal on her upcoming wedding.
