Sindh Government Opens Recruitment for CM Helicopter Crew Posts

The Sindh government has started a recruitment drive for three special-grade positions. These posts are part of the Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah helicopter crew.

The vacancies include two pilot positions and one assistant deputy chief engineer role. Officials have invited applications from qualified and experienced candidates.

Applicants have been given 15 days to apply. The selection process will be strictly based on merit and experience.

The LHC has not been involved in this recruitment process. However, similar government hiring cases are often reviewed in courts like the LHC when disputes arise.

For pilot positions, candidates must hold a valid PCAA license. They must also have cleared all required aviation examinations.

The maximum age limit for applicants is 57 years. Only highly experienced professionals will be considered for selection.

Each pilot must have at least 4,500 flying hours. This requirement ensures strong operational experience for the helicopter crew.

For the engineering position, applicants must hold a Bachelor of Engineering degree. They must also have 3,500 hours of relevant professional experience.

The Sindh government has also introduced strict eligibility conditions. Candidates dismissed or prematurely retired due to misconduct are not eligible.

Officials have also excluded applicants involved in flight safety violations or pilot error incidents. These rules aim to maintain high safety standards.

All interested candidates must submit their CVs and experience certificates. A copy of the national identity card is also required.

Applications must be sent to the Director, Chief Minister Helicopter Flight, Government of Sindh. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interviews.

The recruitment process is part of efforts to strengthen aviation operations. Authorities want skilled and experienced professionals for safe helicopter services.

In many public service cases, the LHC reviews recruitment disputes and policy challenges. However, this particular hiring process is managed at the provincial level.

Officials have emphasized transparency and merit in the selection process. The focus remains on safety, experience, and technical expertise for all applicants.
