The FPSC has announced the final results of the CSS Competitive Examination 2025. The results highlight strong competition and a very low success rate.
According to the FPSC, a total of 12,792 candidates appeared in the written examination. However, only 355 candidates were able to pass the written stage.
This means the overall pass percentage remained just 2.77 percent. Officials said the exam continues to be one of the toughest competitive tests in Pakistan.
The FPSC also confirmed the allocation of successful candidates. A total of 170 candidates have been recommended for different occupational groups.
These allocations are based on available vacancies and quota distribution. The selected group includes 84 male and 86 female candidates.
The commission announced the top three positions in the result. Usaid Rafique secured first position in the CSS 2025 examination.
Muhammad Mohsin Khalid achieved second position, while Tariq Hafeez stood third.
The FPSC stated that the top 30 candidates have been allocated to key services. These include the Pakistan Administrative Service and the Police Service of Pakistan.
However, none of the top 30 candidates were allocated to the Foreign Service this year.
The result breakdown also showed provincial representation among top candidates. Most of the top 30 positions were secured by candidates from Punjab.
Out of these, 23 candidates belong to Punjab.
Two candidates each are from Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Three candidates are from Balochistan.
The FPSC said the CSS examination remains highly competitive every year. Thousands of candidates compete for a limited number of government positions.
Officials advised candidates to check full results on the FPSC official website. The announcement marks the completion of the CSS 2025 examination cycle.
