FC Camp Office Demolished in Islamabad Anti-Encroachment Drive

Authorities in Islamabad have stepped up their anti-encroachment campaign with the demolition of an FC Camp Office located on public land. The structure was built on the green belt area near Marriott Hotel and Ayub Chowk.

The operation was carried out under the supervision of Mohsin Naqvi. Officials from the Capital Development Authority (CDA) were also present during the action. The move is part of a broader effort to clear illegal constructions across the federal capital.

According to officials, the FC Camp Office was identified as an unlawful structure built on public land. Authorities stated that the land belongs to the state and cannot be used for unauthorized purposes. The demolition was conducted in line with ongoing efforts to reclaim encroached areas.

During the visit, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi made it clear that the anti-encroachment drive will continue without any external pressure. He stressed that action will be taken against all illegal constructions, regardless of who owns them. This includes both private individuals and government entities.

The minister also highlighted that a strict zero-tolerance policy has been adopted. He said no one will be allowed to occupy public land illegally. The removal of the FC Camp Office is being seen as a strong signal that authorities are serious about enforcing the law.

At the same time, Mohsin Naqvi assured that an alternative legal location will be provided for the demolished FC Camp Office. This step is aimed at ensuring that official operations are not disrupted while still upholding the law.

The government says its main goal is to restore Islamabad to its planned structure. Officials want to ensure that public spaces, especially green belts, remain free from illegal use. The campaign is expected to continue in different parts of the city in the coming days.

Experts believe that such actions could help improve urban management and protect public resources. However, they also note that consistent enforcement will be key to long-term success.
