Sualeh Asif, a 26-year-old Pakistani entrepreneur, has entered the global billionaire list after the success of his artificial intelligence company, Cursor. His achievement marks a major milestone for Pakistan’s growing tech talent on the world stage.

According to Forbes, Sualeh Asif has been added to the latest Billionaires List. His estimated real-time net worth stands at $1.3 billion. This equals nearly Rs362 billion in local currency.

The ranking places Sualeh Asif at around 2,919 on the global rich list. He is now considered one of the youngest self-made billionaires in the international technology sector.

Sualeh Asif co-founded Cursor with fellow students from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. The company developed an AI-powered coding assistant. It helps software developers write, edit, and improve code more efficiently.

Cursor has seen rapid growth in a short time. The company is now valued at approximately $29.3 billion. This valuation came after it raised $2.3 billion in funding. The round was led by Accel and Coatue Management.

Each co-founder, including Sualeh Asif, is estimated to hold a fortune of about $1.3 billion. This reflects the strong market demand for AI-based development tools.

Cursor has also become a major player in the software industry. It reportedly generates over $1 billion in annual revenue. The platform is used by millions of developers worldwide.

Its client base includes around 50,000 companies. Major tech firms such as Nvidia, Adobe, Uber, and Shopify are also among its users.

Before his business success, Sualeh Asif represented Pakistan in the International Mathematical Olympiad from 2016 to 2018. He later studied at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

During his studies, Sualeh Asif also worked on an AI-based search engine project. This early work helped shape his future in artificial intelligence development.

Reports suggest he currently resides in San Francisco, California. However, he continues to hold Pakistani citizenship.

Cursor was founded by four partners, including Sualeh Asif, Michael Truell, Aman Sanger, and Arvid Lunnemark. The company is also reportedly exploring potential collaboration with SpaceX on future AI projects.
