Rising Temperatures have been reported across several parts of Pakistan, with Sindh and Balochistan experiencing the most intense heat. The Pakistan Meteorological Department has warned that the mercury is climbing steadily and may continue to increase in the coming days.
According to the latest forecast, Temperatures in Balochistan’s Sibi are expected to reach as high as 44°C. In Sindh, Sukkur could record around 43°C, while Dadu may see 42°C. Mithi is likely to experience 41°C, and Hyderabad could reach 40°C. These figures highlight a significant rise in heat levels across the region.
In Karachi, the weather is relatively moderate compared to interior areas. However, Temperatures in the city are still expected to reach around 35°C. Officials say that even this level of heat can feel intense due to humidity, especially during daytime hours.
Other cities in Punjab are also experiencing a gradual increase in heat. Multan and Sargodha may record temperatures around 37°C. Meanwhile, Lahore and Dera Ghazi Khan are expected to see temperatures close to 36°C. These conditions indicate a wider warming trend across the country.
The Pakistan Meteorological Department has predicted that dry weather will persist in Sindh. This pattern is likely to push Temperatures even higher in the coming days. Stable weather conditions, combined with clear skies, are contributing to the rising heat.
Experts have noted that the warming trend began earlier this month. Since April 10, Karachi has seen a steady increase in daytime temperatures. The city is expected to continue experiencing warmer days as the month progresses.
Authorities have also warned about the possibility of heatwave conditions by the end of April. If the current trend continues, Temperatures could rise further, especially in southern regions. This may increase health risks, particularly for vulnerable groups.
Citizens have been advised to take precautionary measures. Staying hydrated, avoiding direct sunlight, and limiting outdoor activities during peak hours are strongly recommended. These steps can help reduce the impact of rising temperatures.
