Later, Nestlé confirmed that the motorcade was indeed part of a planned campaign. The idea was developed by a creative agency to take advantage of the viral attention following the robbery. The campaign aimed to engage audiences without direct advertising.

Despite the online success, the original stolen shipment of KitKat remains missing. Authorities are still working to trace the products using the tracking system.
