Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz extended Eid-ul-Fitr greetings to Muslims in Pakistan and worldwide. She urged citizens to celebrate the festival with simplicity due to the current regional situation.

Maryam Nawaz also highlighted her government’s welfare initiatives. She said financial assistance had been delivered to nearly 4 million families, benefiting around 20 million people across Punjab. She mentioned a new program called “Maryam Ko Batayein”, which provides immediate financial support of Rs10,000 to deserving individuals through digital payments.
She added that caring for the needy is the essence of Eid. Maryam Nawaz emphasized that promoting brotherhood, empathy, and compassion is a way to express gratitude to Almighty Allah.
The chief minister also paid tribute to the nation’s martyrs. She acknowledged their sacrifices and said they should be remembered even during celebrations.
Maryam Nawaz concluded by praying for peace, stability, and well-being for Muslims worldwide. She urged unity, harmony, and support for one another during the holy occasion of Eid.
