Balochistan CM Female Suicide Bomber Arrested – Details Inside

Balochistan CM Sarfraz Bugti announced that security forces arrested a female suicide bomber in Khuzdar, preventing a potential attack and saving lives.

Speaking at a press conference in Quetta, the Balochistan CM called the operation a major success. He said the timely action of security agencies had foiled a “dangerous terrorist plot.”

Links to Terror Networks

The suspect confessed she had been recruited by terrorist commander Qazi Ibrahim and trained for a suicide mission. She was connected to a wider network through an individual named Diljan.

The Balochistan CM warned of a growing trend of radicalization among local youth, particularly women. He emphasized that most Baloch people are peaceful but some groups are trying to push them toward violence.

Officials said the suspect had been radicalized over the past three months and was tasked with both carrying out an attack and recruiting other women. She urged young women to avoid involvement in extremist activities.

Preliminary investigations indicate the suspect had ties to banned militant groups and extremist networks. Authorities are working to identify all facilitators involved in her training and planning.

Measures and Rehabilitation

The Balochistan CM confirmed the suspect will be placed in a special facility for further investigation. Rehabilitation and de-radicalization programs will also be implemented. Authorities believe this case exposed a larger network of recruitment and propaganda.

Bugti highlighted that improved intelligence-sharing has led to several successful operations across the province. Protecting lives and property remains a top priority.

The provincial government also announced that cases involving women will be handled by female police officers. Plans are underway to expand education, job opportunities, and community programs to prevent radicalization.
