The Dubai Roads and Transport Authority has announced revised transport schedules and free public parking across Dubai for the upcoming Eid Al Fitr. These measures will be in effect from March 19 to March 21 to ensure smooth travel during the holiday period.
Public parking will be free across the city during the first three days of Eid, except for multi-storey parking facilities. Regular parking fees will resume from the fourth day of the festival.
Metro services on the Red and Green Lines will operate from 5:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. between March 18 and March 21. On March 22, the metro will run from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. Similarly, the Dubai Tram will operate from 6:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. during March 18–21, and from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. on March 22.
The RTA has advised bus passengers to check the updated schedules through the S’hail app. During this period, Route E100 will not operate from Al Ghubaiba Bus Station from the afternoon of March 18 until March 22. Route E101 will continue to run from Ibn Battuta Bus Station to Abu Dhabi, while Route E102 will operate from Al Jafiliya Bus Station to Musaffah.
All RTA Customer Happiness Centres will be closed during Eid, except the Umm Ramool Customer Happiness Centre and Smart Customer Happiness Centres, which remain open 24/7. Service provider centres, including vehicle testing facilities, will also be closed from March 19 to March 21, reopening on March 22.
