The Rs. 200 Billion package aims to accelerate development in the region. The meeting focused on shaping the upcoming Annual Development Programme (ADP) for the next fiscal year. Lawmakers shared proposals and highlighted priority projects for their constituencies.

During the session, members raised the issue of the Haripur–Mansehra GT Road. They urged the federal government to dualize the road to improve traffic flow. The road falls under the control of the National Highway Authority. Legislators said the project is vital for better connectivity in Hazara.

Afridi also directed elected representatives to hold a separate consultative meeting. They were asked to recommend development schemes for inclusion in the special package. He stressed the importance of careful planning and timely execution.

In addition, the chief minister announced that Allai will be upgraded into a separate district. A formal notification will be issued soon. The move is expected to improve local governance and service delivery.
