The Sindh government has issued an official notification revising school schedules for Ramadan 2026, covering public and private institutions under provincial administrative authority.
The directive, released by the School Education and Literacy Department, confirms the new timetable will apply to primary, elementary, secondary, and higher secondary schools throughout the province.
For single-shift primary schools, classes will run from 8:00am to 12:30pm Monday through Thursday, while double-shift institutions will follow staggered morning and afternoon sessions daily.
Morning shifts in double-shift primary schools will operate from 7:30am to 11:30am, while second shifts begin 11:45am and continue until 2:45pm across districts.
On Fridays, single-shift schools will close earlier at 11:30am, while double-shift campuses will run 7:30am–10:30am and 11:45am–1:15pm sessions respectively across all grade levels.
Officials said the revised schedule, including schools in Karachi, aims to support students and staff observing Ramadan while maintaining academic continuity province-wide.
