Xiaomi Rolls Out HyperOS 3 Globally, Europe Gets It First

The Xiaomi HyperOS 3 global rollout has officially begun, with Europe becoming the first region to receive the latest system update. Xiaomi confirmed that the new operating system will gradually expand to other markets, including Asia and Latin America, in the coming weeks.

The Xiaomi HyperOS 3 update focuses on smoother performance, faster app loading, and better cross-device connectivity. It also brings improvements to privacy controls, battery optimization, and smart integration across Xiaomi’s smartphones, tablets, and wearables. Users are already reporting enhanced animation fluidity and more efficient memory management.

According to Xiaomi, HyperOS 3 will replace the older MIUI interface entirely, marking a major shift in how the company’s devices interact within its ecosystem. With a more unified system core, Xiaomi aims to connect everything from smart TVs to electric scooters under one digital experience.

The update rollout began with flagship models, including the Xiaomi 14 series and select Redmi and Poco devices. Other models are expected to follow soon after. Xiaomi has also promised regular security patches and stability updates to support the new system.

Back in December 2023, Xiaomi had announced the first phase of the HyperOS global launch, revealing which smartphones would receive the update initially. That early list gave users a glimpse of Xiaomi’s ambitious plan to transition its entire lineup to the new operating system.

Tech experts note that the rollout marks a critical stage in Xiaomi’s global strategy, as the brand seeks to position HyperOS 3 as a strong rival to Android-based skins from other manufacturers. By focusing on speed, personalization, and smart device connectivity, Xiaomi aims to deliver a consistent experience across devices worldwide.

For now, users in Europe are the first to explore Xiaomi HyperOS 3, while others eagerly await their turn. The update can be checked manually in system settings, though it may take a few weeks to reach all eligible devices.
