In contrast, the Sindh Education Department has extended the summer holidays until August 14 due to ongoing heatwaves and anticipated heavy rains. Schools in Sindh will reopen on August 15, with activities planned for Independence Day on August 14. Initially, the summer break in Sindh was set from June 1 to July 31, 2024.
