Where does Pakistan stand in the World Cup Super League?

New Zealand won the championship after topping the table with 175 points. England is second (155 points), followed by Bangladesh (15 points), and India (139 points).

During the championship cycle, Pakistan finished fifth with 130 points. The Men in Green played 21 matches with Babar as captain, winning 14 and losing seven in the home and away series.

Pakistan began the championship with a series win over Zimbabwe. In 2020, Pakistan defeated Zimbabwe 2-1 at home. Pakistan defeated South Africa 2-1 in a three-match series in 2021. Later that year, they were defeated 3-0 by England.

In a historic ODI series in Lahore in 2022, Pakistan defeated Australia 2-1. Pakistan won the first two matches to defeat the Australians, who returned to Pakistan after 22 years. Later that year, Pakistan defeated the West Indies and the Netherlands both 3-0. Pakistan lost the three-match ODI series to New Zealand 2-1 in January 2023.

The Super League is a brand new one-day international competition that will run for two years and attempts to boost the stakes of bilateral 50-over games.
