The city experienced a deluge, breaking a 30-year-old record, with over 290mm of rainfall within just 10 hours.

Tragically, seven individuals lost their lives due to the extreme weather conditions. The downpour led to the paralysis of the city as major roads and connecting streets became waterlogged, rendering commuting impossible
. Many vehicles succumbed to the knee-deep water, breaking down on the flooded roads. Wahab Riaz’s proactive involvement aims to alleviate the aftermath of this record-breaking rainfall.
