US trade links, “More crucial than ever to support Pakistan's economic stability”, US state dept.

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text dp_text_size=”size-4″]A strong commercial connection between the US and Pakistan is more crucial than ever to support Pakistan’s economic stability as it recovers from terrible floods, while also giving Americans and American firms in this country opportunities and opening up new markets to them—in this case, Pakistani markets—according to US State Department Spokesman Ned Price on Thursday.

The US said that its commitment to strengthening economic and commercial ties with Pakistan was demonstrated by the ministerial meeting of the Trade and Investment Framework Agreement (TIFA) Council that was hosted by Ambassador Tai, US Trade Representative.

Both Pakistani businesses and consumers have benefited from US trade links, according to Price, who also noted that “we have long been Pakistan’s greatest export market, with potential for even higher expansion.”[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
