This incident follows another troubling case at Civil Hospital Karachi, where cancer medications worth Rs. 360 million were reported stolen. The theft involved hospital employees and accomplices who allegedly conspired to sell thousands of tablets of cancer treatment drugs illegally. Despite efforts by authorities, including police raids and a registered case, the suspects involved in the drug theft remain at large. These incidents underscore significant challenges in safeguarding medical facilities against criminal activities and ensuring the integrity of healthcare services for the public.
