Speeding Coaster Crash in Karachi Claims at Least Seven Lives

In Karachi, a tragic accident unfolded near Mauripur Gate 6 when an overspeeding coaster lost control, overturning and crashing into a pavement. This incident claimed the lives of seven individuals, including women and children. Emergency responders swiftly provided medical assistance to the injured, with the deceased transferred to Civil Hospital for further procedures.

In Attock, a devastating collision occurred between a Rescue 1122 ambulance and an oil tanker, resulting in the deaths of five people, including three women and a paraplegic patient. The ambulance was en route from Attock to Rawalpindi when the accident took place, leaving three others critically injured.

Further north in Abbottabad, a jeep accident in Liran village resulted in six fatalities and seven injuries. The victims were returning from Kaliyan Bazaar in Azad Kashmir when their vehicle veered off the road and fell into a deep ditch, highlighting the dangers of road travel in challenging terrains.

Meanwhile, near Hub, a tragic accident on the way to Shah Noorani shrine claimed the lives of 11 people and left over 30 others injured. The incident occurred during nighttime travel, underscoring the risks associated with journeys to religious sites amidst challenging road conditions.

These incidents serve as stark reminders of the importance of road safety and the risks faced by travelers on Pakistan’s roads.
