Fatal Road Accidents Raise Concerns over Road Safety in Pakistan

“Several fatal road accidents in Pakistan have sparked concerns about road safety in the country. Recently, five passengers lost their lives and 20 others were seriously injured when a bus overturned in Rajanpur district due to overspeeding.

In a separate incident in Gilgit, four members of a family were killed, and eight others were injured when a tourist bus fell off a cliff.

Another tragic accident on the Islamabad-Lahore Motorway claimed 13 lives and was attributed to ‘criminal’ negligence.
