Six Workers Shot Dead, Two Wounded In Turbat, Balochistan

In the most recent firearm assault in southwestern Pakistan, reports from local media on Saturday indicate that a total of six laborers lost their lives. According to local law enforcement, unidentified attackers forcibly entered the residence of Naseer Ahmed, a contractor, and carried out a shooting that resulted in the immediate deaths of six individuals, while two others sustained injuries. Two men suffered severe injuries and were subsequently transported to a local hospital for medical treatment.

The deceased individuals were identified as Rizwan, the son of Allah Dad, Shehbaz, the son of Mumtaz, Waseem, the son of Mumtaz, Shafiq Ahmad, Muhammad Naeem, and Sikandar. The injured survivors were Ghulam Mustafa, the son of Nazir Ahmad, and Tawheed, the son of Jawar Khan.

This group of men was employed by a local contractor for construction work and appears to have been targeted for reasons that remain unknown.

Law enforcement authorities have initiated necessary actions, and an investigation is currently underway.

The Caretaker Chief Minister of Balochistan took notice of the incident and instructed officials to thoroughly investigate all aspects of the case and promptly submit a report, utilizing all available resources to apprehend those responsible.

He strongly condemned the brutal killing of the workers, expressing deep sorrow over the loss of innocent lives, and emphasized that the perpetrators will be held accountable under the full extent of the law.
